About the role

TSB’s Business and Property Finance Team comprises a nationwide team of ambitious, experienced, specialist lenders spread across New Zealand. This role is supported by a team of Business Specialists who complete the onboarding and administration of clients.  The Business and Property Finance Team plays a critical role in the growth of TSB in its Diversify strategy, to create new and strong relationships with clients in their local region.

The key purpose of this role is to provide support to the relationship managers, by assisting with proactive management and growth of the portfolio in order to maximise opportunities for high value clients.

We have two positions available, please indicate in your letter which location(s) you are interested in:

  • New Plymouth; and 
  • Christchurch

Who are you?

We’re looking for a resilient, results-driven and customer focused person with a high level of commercial acumen and strong understanding of risks, industry and market trends that will translate these into insights and opportunities.  

You will need a high level of proven interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.

You will be a relationship builder and able to collaborate across all levels.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Support in undertaking new and existing client visits and interviews.
  • Review, analyse, and interpret financial information and complex financial statements.
  • Work with relationship managers to support in forming strong relationships with key clients.
  • Support across the team to collaborate, cross-skill and build effectiveness.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • 5+ years banking or financial services experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and credit writing.
  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 or equivalent qualification
