About the role
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-level technology solutions that align with the strategic direction of the bank.
We’re looking for more than just technical expertise. We need someone who can translate complex business needs into innovative, scalable, and secure architectures, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
You’ll help shape our roadmap and lead architectural governance across projects or entire value streams.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Define and champion architectural standards, roadmaps, and frameworks, while designing solution architectures that turn business strategies into actionable technology plans.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to design scalable, high-performing, and secure solutions that support business goals and seamless system integration.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.
- Consult with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and provide strategic architectural guidance.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Offer expert-level support to solution architects and engineers across a range of projects.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to growing talent within the architecture practice.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Lead technical proofs of concept (POCs) and contribute to innovation initiatives.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
- Proven experience modernising legacy applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), microservices, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with Open Banking, BIAN and compliance is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or similar are a bonus
