About the role

The Team Manager, reporting to the Head of Business and Property Finance, will be accountable for leading and developing a team of specialists to deliver high quality customer interactions and experiences, with a focus on retention and growth.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven success as a leader within the financial services environment, displaying a high level of commercial acumen and strong understanding of industry trends.

You will be a motivational leader who will drive business excellence, seeking to achieve good customer outcomes.

You will be a credible coach who will provide effective day-to-day guidance to the Specialist team, that will promote high performance to deliver great end-to-end customer experiences.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Act as the point of escalation for client matters, working collaboratively with National Managers to support cohesive operations and efficiency across all functions.
  • Create, review, assess procedures and processes to support the ongoing optimisation of the Banks systems and procedures.
  • Establish a structured process to ensure business SLAs can be met and exceeded.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A high level of commercial acumen and strong understanding of industry trends
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Banking and/or Financial Services role, with a strong understanding of onboarding, AML and loan processes.
  • Sound understanding of process improvement, change and stakeholder management capability.
